For the past few weeks Linda McMaster and Elizabeth Greisman have been teaching watercolour painting on board the Queen Mary 2 while crossing the Atlantic. Our twice daily classes have been enjoyed by over 100 participants using excellent kits prepared by Windsor and Newton. We have seen fantastic results!
Each class began with an art history component and then students were taught watercolour techniques by demonstration. Lessons were thematic and individualized for the participant. Most students attended the programme all week so friendships were formed. Linda and Elizabeth saw great skill development as participants became more comfortable with the medium.
