Kathy has been offering drawing classes at Artbarn since 2012. Kathy is always upbeat and her passion for teaching and for her students always shows. Kathy is a very gifted and well prepared instructor; keen to develop new lesson plans and experiment with diverse media in her class. She interacts directly with all her students, both in person and virtual. Her Drawing for the Terrified Beginner and Drawing for the Not so Terrified Beginner classes are always well attended. She has also taught numerous figure and portrait drawing workshops for Artbarn, OSEA (Ontario Society for Art Education) and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
During the pandemic, Kathy adapted by transitioning her classes to Zoom, enabling her to continue offering them virtually. Today, she maintains a virtual option for both classes, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all participants, regardless of their location.
