Description
Join Nora for a two hour workshop exploring the unique aspects of charcoal. Using a raccoon as our subject, we will use soft willow charcoal to create beautiful silvery tones and charcoal pencil to establish dark lines and form. With the help of a kneaded eraser and some chalk pastel, lovely subtle highlights will emerge. This technique can be applied to any subject you wish. We’ll discuss the many charcoal materials that are easily available to you here in Toronto, not to mention very affordable. A photo reference will be supplied. Let’s draw together with this fast, fun medium!!!
Materials included. Beginners welcome.
P.S. charcoal washes off and out, but prepare to get a tad messy 😉
