Art coach Catherine Shea is thrilled to return to Artbarn School to share her abstract acrylic painting workshop ‘COLOUR WEAVING’ inspired by the colours and artisans in the city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Following an easy step-by-step process, Catherine guides students through ‘experiential learning’ providing a fun relaxing environment where students discover meaningful connections through colour, texture and pattern using unexpected tools and techniques to successfully paint unique abstract works of art!
All levels welcome
Artbarn will provide a 16 x 20″ canvas for each participant as well as paint tools and palettes

Catherine Shea (B.A)
Catherine began her visual arts study at Ridley College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Known for her explorations in colour theory, Catherine develops and teaches her own art workshops, in addition to expanding her own art practice. Cultivating a creative and therapeutic approach, Catherine integrates her experience as a professional artist, with her studies in health and wellness guiding clients through an intuitive process to discover new methods of visual expression and communication through the visual arts medium.
