Description
This creative hands-on workshop teaches participants to craft decorative candles inspired by desserts, such as cupcakes, ice cream cones, or pastries. Using food-safe molds, coloured wax, and fragrant oils, attendees learn techniques to shape, layer, and scent their creations to resemble sweet treats. The session blends artistry with candle-making basics, including wax melting, dyeing, and scent blending. Participants leave with a unique, edible-looking candle / pair of candles perfect for gifting or home décor. Ideal for all skill levels, it’s a fun, sensory experience combining confectionery charm with cozy ambiance. 🕯️🎂
All materials included to make a pair of smaller candles or one large candle (10-20 oz. vessels).

Vira Tuhusheva (aka Valkyrie Hild) was born in Ukraine and has lived in Canada since 2023. She has degrees in both art education and interior design. Vira brings her passion and wealth of experience to teach art to children and adults. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and English. Art has always been an inspiration for her, and she is always busy with creative projects in different mediums.
