Cardinals are always a lovely sight on those early winter mornings. A happy splash of colour amongst the snow covered branches. Let’s create a colourful female Cardinal in beautiful transparent watercolour. We’ll talk about design as we add fresh red berries to the dark branches. And over our washy background, some paint splattered for the falling snowflakes. Perhaps this 2 hour workshop will result in a nice gift for a friend. Or kickstart the enjoyable activity of painting snow through the winter season.

Nora MacPhail
Nora MacPhail is a professional artist based in Toronto, Canada. She has been painting for over 25 years and teaching for the past 9 years. Her watercolour painting are all about line and colour.
