Apples! We bet it was one of the first subjects you ever painted. And they are still a favourite subject for artists everywhere. So, let’s paint a beautiful branch of fresh pretty Autumn Apples. This subject suits watercolour perfectly. Nora will take you step-by-step through this subject with watercolour demonstrations, helpful tips and one-to-one feedback. Painting in your own style is fine too! A colour photo to work from will be provided.

Nora MacPhail – Watercolour
Nora MacPhail is a professional painter living in the awesome city of Toronto. Nora has been watercolour painting for over 25 years and teaching for 15 years. She draws with a strong gestural line, then adds lots (and lots) of colour. Nora’s paintings have a uniquely charming and humorous style. Active in the Toronto Art Community, she have been a member of the Toronto Watercolour Society, the Don Valley Art Club, and the Willowdale Group of Artists. Nora is currently the Plein-Air Organizer with the Beach Guild of Fine Arts. She has participated in many group art shows selling watercolour paintings, oil paintings and her popular cityscape bookmarks.
