Discover the beauty and challenge of painting water! Guided by Leila, participants will follow clear, step-by-step demonstrations and easy-to-follow instruction. Using inspiring reference photos featuring lakes, ponds, rivers, and reflective waterscapes, Leila will explore key artistic concepts including composition, colour theory, brushwork, value, and perspective. Special attention will be given to techniques for capturing reflections, creating the illusion of movement, and conveying light on water, helping you create a dynamic and realistic painting. This workshop is for intermediate painters with some acrylic experience.

Leila Refahi

Leila Refahi is an experienced art teacher and researcher with a demonstrated history of working in Visual Art. She works with painting, installation, and digital media to create participatory art experiences. Her work mainly focuses on environmental issues, Climate justice, and endangered animals.
