Kick off your summer with watercolour and start a joyful painting habit! This fun watercolour workshop will encourage you to start, and stick with, a regular painting practise. First, in the comfort of the studio, we’ll use a wet-on-wet technique, which can easily be applied to location or plein air painting. Nora will show you how to simplify all those flowers, greens and branches into a beautiful colourful painting. You’ll be prepared to paint your garden or local park by creating a complete painting indoors first. Of course, all this applies when working from photos in studio too! Finally, we’ll talk about plein air gear, like palettes, paintboxes, brush holders, a chair (and a hat), so you can be make informed decisions and be comfy painting this summer.
