This course is especially designed to provide beginners with an introduction to oil painting. Joan will guide the group through a step by step process for their first 8×10″ landscape painting. To help with this, photo images will be sent to each participant. Joan will demonstrate along with the class on a larger version of the landscape for students to see the process, to ask questions and to get one on one advice and help. After a class critique and discussion about style, students will choose their next subject matter based on their own interests and Joan will work with each artist individually to help them create a successful work of art.
No class on April 27th
