Raising Artists 2017 a huge success!
Thanks to all our donors, teachers, artists and supporters for a magical evening of exciting art and community! We were fortunate to have a very creative, hardworking fundraising committee – Shannon Molenaar, Cecilia Zimerman, Mary Collins & Mirena Lopez Corvetto. Well done, ladies!! Special thanks to Bill McMaster for donating our huge, inukshuk painting by Ken Kirkby that was successfully auctioned by Adam Gordon from MaxSold. We all enjoyed the Art Challenge with our three artists, Catherine Shea, Sandra Iafrate & Jim Thierry Bravo, painting excellent canvases in just one hour! Also thanks to our musician, Aaron Young, for his delightful guitar music during the painting session. Our corporate donors were very generous this year – RBC Foundation ($5000) and The Lindy Green Charitable Foundation ($2500).
