Join us for three days of hands on art featuring 3 great women artists! Our “Masters” are Impressionist painter, Mary Cassatt; amazing Canadian icon, Emily Carr; and wonderful sculptress, Louise Nevelson! For our Mary Cassat session the students will be painting a cheery canvas. The next day when learning about Louise Nevelson they will construct an intricate box sculpture with favourite objects. Lastly they will explore a mixed media approach for their Emily Carr inspired painting.
Class Size is 12 students.
