Two to three week projects explore colour, composition and techniques, focussing on using acrylic paints and mediums. Some other media such as oil pastels, coloured pencil, watercolours and different supports and surfaces may be explored, depending on the interest of the class. The class format is open and encouraging, whether you are a beginner or more advanced. You are encouraged to bring your own ideas and inspiration to the projects, whether you prefer a more realistic or abstract approach. For the experienced painter, it is an opportunity to develop some new ideas while you evolve your own style. Follow along with the assignments or bring your own work in progress. Materials list will be supplied. Open to all levels.
