Description

Please join us as we utilize landscape and the organic world with emphasis on conceptual/personal investigations. It will provide an opportunity to expand your image making and artistic skill set inspiring new creative paths. You will be challenged and motivated with fresh ideas and approaches to a cherished and respected timeless painting genre.

Not suitable for beginners. Please bring the following to class:

  • Paint of your choice, acrylic is best make sure to have black and white
  • Brushes and or painting knives
  • Heavy gel medium if you have it
  • 2 canvases of equal size , dimensions optional
  • 1 or 2 sheets of watercolour paper 22 x 30
  • Photos, sketches, images or any reference material you may potentially wish to work from.

Steve Rose

Steve Rose (BFA) is a graduate of OCAD with a major in drawing and painting. He has exhibited his work in over 90 solo and group shows and has a diverse and experienced background as an artist/educator. He has taught at the Haliburton School of the Arts, OCAD, JCC Prosserman & Neilson Park Art Centre. Find out more about Steve and his artwork here.
